The challenge
Brightlink AV has served the professional AV space since 2007, selling LED video walls, HDMI matrix switchers, interactive displays, and audio systems to Fortune 500 integrators and government agencies. Their catalog runs deep — hundreds of SKUs with complex technical specifications per product.
The previous Shopify theme didn't surface enough technical depth for B2B buyers, the home page didn't communicate enterprise credibility well, and the COB LED line — Brightlink's flagship product — needed dedicated product pages rich enough to support six-figure procurement decisions.
Approach
Rebuilt to lead with enterprise authority: featured product showcases, trusted-client signals, and clear category entry for integrators landing from search or referral.
Designed a full custom product page for the Chip-on-Board LED video wall line. 15+ sections covering spec sheets, configuration options, technical use-cases, and gallery views. Fully responsive with a dedicated mobile layout.
Reworked the default product page and collection templates to surface spec data, filter complex hierarchies, and improve scannability for technical buyers evaluating across product families.
Built a library of Liquid sections the Brightlink team can now reuse across new product launches — no dev involvement needed for routine content updates.
Modelled product data with proper metafields, metaobjects, and metadata so technical specs render consistently across product, collection, search, and the storefront API.
